What's New In Chapter 52!

Payroll Charts - The 2007 pay chart with dues withholding is now available.

Negotiated Agreements - IRS - N.T.E.U. National Agreement 2006.

Members Benefits - many of the old benefits remain and several new benefits have been added. All remain for "Members Only", another reason to join N.T.E.U. Check out the new companies that provide union members with on line internet discounts. Other discounts available are for car rental, insurance, and hotels/motels.

Sound Off! - this site is finally out of construction and is fully functional. So let us hear from you if you have any questions or wish to contact the chapter in this forum.

New Stewards and New Officer- The Chapter's Board of Directors, in accordance with the by laws, has been appointed Joel Resendez as the Vice-President of Area B, to fill the vacancy left by Grace Torres who took a non-bargaining unit job as the collection group manager in El Paso, TX.  All of the current steward assignments can be seen on our Stewards and Staff page. Go to the Table of Contents link above, then to the Stewards and Staff link, to find out who represents your group or area. Contact them if you need assistance or have questions.

Legislative & Political News - NEW ways to keep you informed of what Congress is working on. See what bills are in Congress, which bills will affect your job and family. Type in your zip code and write letters to your representatives.
The TEPAC and Political pages should not be opened if you are using a government computer.

National Office - the new National Constitution and By laws are available for your viewing, as well as the local chapter by laws.

Union Membership - provides you the opportunity to join the NTEU by completing a Form 1187 on line, printing it, then give it to a steward. You can determine the bi-weekly dues amount by reviewing the dues withholding chart for 2006. If you wonder why you should join NTEU, there is a new page with just a few reasons showing how we are working for you.

Laws and Regulations - has several new links to web sites which can help you with your research. Now more links for you to visit. We now have the IRS Code of Conduct Handbook on the  web page and a copy of the infamous RRA 98 Section 1203.
